Aquifer soil wetter is delivering standout ROI results in WA wheat trials, with independent data from Mindarabin showing yield gains of up to 820 kg/ha. If you haven’t considered a soil wetter in your crop input program, this trial result is worth a close look.

Aquifer Soil Wetter Trial Results – Mindarabin WA, 2025

Wouldn’t it be great to get a 36-fold Return On Investment (ROI) for every crop input?  Last year (2025), an independent wheat trial at Mindarabin WA, gave just that, yielding an extra 690kg by using 1L/ha Aquifer.  A rate of 2 L/ha yielded an 820 extra kg/ha, while 2L/ha SE14 gave an extra 770kg/ha.  All tremendous results. And given the results above, I’d suggest 2 L/ha is a safer rate as it gave the highest reward.

But, with Aquifer at $5.50/L and SE14 at $8.90, 2L/ha can either cost you $11 (Aquifer) or $17.80 (SE14). If we value wheat at $300/T, 1 L/ha Aquifer gave the best ROI (x 36), but 2L/ha Aquifer gave the best net return ($234/ha), while SE14 @2L/ha returned $211/ha. Both are profitable.

Perhaps it is time you gave Aquifer, the King in soil wetters, a go!  The affordable option to improve yields 😊
