Calcium Advance is a highly bioavailable calcium fertiliser from 4Farmers, formulated for broadacre growers who want better pod set and stronger root development. With a consistent particle size under 2 micron, it delivers calcium, boron, magnesium and zinc in a stable, non-caking formulation that can be applied in furrow, as a foliar or through fertigation.

4Farmers Calcium Advance, due to its particle size, is highly available to both the plant and the soil. While the best lime sand has about 90% of particles less than 0.3mm, 4Farmers Calcium Advance has a consistent particle size of less than 0.002mm (2 micron) making it over 100 times more bioavailable and mobile than the best lime sand. Each kilogram of this calcium source behaves like an ultra-reactive sponge, having faster bio-availability, which is good for the plant and rapid chemical reactivity, which is good for the soil.
What is in Calcium Advance?
Calcium Advance has 4 main nutrients in a highly bioavailable form.
- Calcium – in foliar application the calcium encourages the development of the pollen tube to help with seed/fruit set. It also is part of the rapid cell division that happens at both root and shoot tips as well as being integral to strong cell walls. In the furrow this calcium source is a highly effective nano-lime, altering the pH directly in the root zone.
- Boron – to facilitate calcium uptake by the plant.
- Magnesium and Zinc – to assist in chlorophyll production.
Calcium Advance has been formulated with chelating complexes and special surfactants to make the formulation stable and prevent caking.
